Modern Ayurveda in India is no longer an empty shelf. Brands like Amrutam and Kapiva have spent years teaching customers what a premium, design-led Ayurvedic brand looks like, and they now own that look. Vyomrita had something many newer labels don't: genuine formulation depth from its parent, LSF Medical, and a range that runs from Shilajit resin, drops and honey sticks to Ashwagandha, Ceylon cinnamon, herbal teas, tonics and skin and hair care. What it didn't have was a brand that made any of that visible. The products lived on an off-the-shelf site, social media hadn't launched, and nothing about the presentation told a customer why this Shilajit or this Ashwagandha deserved to be chosen over a name they had already seen a hundred times. The problem wasn't credibility. It was that the credibility was invisible.

The strategy started from the one thing the category leaders can't easily claim: a pharmaceutical background. Most Ayurvedic brands sell heritage and mood. Vyomrita can sell heritage and proof, because every product comes out of a company that already works in medical quality standards. So instead of competing on who looks more ancient or more luxurious, the brand was positioned around a simple idea the founder already believed in: every formulation needs a reason to exist. That idea anchors the pitch, the storefront and the launch content, so the customer meets the same promise wherever they first find the brand.

01

Positioning

Before any design work, BE YOUR OWN mapped Vyomrita directly against Amrutam and Kapiva: how each one talks, what each one promises, and where the gaps sit. The opening was clear. Both lean on tradition and lifestyle. Neither leads with formulation discipline. Vyomrita's territory became purposeful, pure and tested Ayurveda, carried by its own line, "Stillness That Elevates Strength," and by the "One Healing Ritual" idea that already runs through the brand.

02

Shopify Storefront

The brand is moving from a template site builder to a custom Shopify store, designed and built by BE YOUR OWN. The structure is built for how wellness customers actually shop: by need first (energy, stress, digestion, daily ritual), product format second. Each product page is designed to answer the questions that stall a first purchase in this category: what's in it, why it's in it, how to take it, and how it was tested.

03

Social Launch

Vyomrita is launching its social presence with a brand intro film produced by BE YOUR OWN. Its job is to do in thirty seconds what the old site never did: introduce the brand, its point of view and its ritual-led tone before a single product is pushed, so the first impression is a brand, not a catalogue.

Brand positioning, Shopify storefront and social launch for a modern Ayurvedic wellness label

Overview

Vyomrita is the herbal and Ayurvedic division of LSF Medical, built to create formulations that are pure, safe and genuinely effective, and to take Indian herbal knowledge to a wider audience. Its range covers Shilajit in several formats, supplements like Ashwagandha and Ceylon cinnamon, herbal teas and tonics, and hand-crafted skin and hair care. BE YOUR OWN came in first with a brand pitch, and Vyomrita signed on for the work that followed: sharper positioning, a custom Shopify storefront, and the brand film that opens its social media launch.

The Challenge

Ayurveda has become one of the most competitive wellness categories in India. Amrutam and Kapiva have set the standard for what a modern Ayurvedic brand looks like, and newer labels tend to copy that look rather than challenge it. Vyomrita's products had real substance behind them, but the brand around them didn't say so. Its website was a basic builder template, its social channels hadn't launched, and a customer comparing it to the category leaders had no visible reason to pick it. The task was to turn a quietly credible company into a brand that looks like a decision.

Our Approach

Everything started from the competitor map. Placing Vyomrita next to Amrutam and Kapiva made the opening obvious: the leaders sell tradition and lifestyle, but none of them lead with the discipline behind the formula. Vyomrita can, because it comes out of a pharmaceutical consultancy rather than a lifestyle startup. That became the core of the brand: purposeful Ayurveda, where every product has a clear reason to exist and a clear standard behind it, told in the calm, ritual-led voice of "Stillness That Elevates Strength."

The Shopify storefront carries that idea into the sale. Navigation is organised around wellness needs first, so a customer looking for energy or better sleep reaches the right product without decoding Sanskrit names. Product pages put ingredients, purpose, usage and testing up front, because those are the exact doubts that stop someone buying a supplement from a brand they haven't tried. The launch film does the same work on social: it introduces the brand and its point of view before it sells anything.

The Result

TODO - write once the Shopify site and social channels are live and there is real data to report. Until then, Vyomrita leaves this phase with a defined position against the category leaders, a storefront built around how wellness customers actually buy, and a brand film ready to open its social presence.
